Eating well means feeling well
Mama, what do we eat tonight?
How often do we hear this question, even on our campsite? A lot… therefore, we thought to help out. Over the coming months food in all its forms will find its way into our blog and onto our campsite.
In this post we will make a start, we help you out by introducing firstly our own restaurant. Great for its wide variety and beautiful spacious garden. Completely renovated not long ago, here you can enjoy healthy fresh food. Served inside or in the garden, and also with a take away option.
Want to try something different, below we have made a small selection (we didn’t mind to try) of some local secrets and tips.
Locanda Zanella in Treporti, a favorite of us. Using loads of local products and typical plates we strongly recommend them. The setting in the small village of Treporti, opposite the old church is also very nice. Check our map of ‘live like a local’ bike route for a scenic tour.
Locanda dal Pupi on the way to Lio Piccolo is the perfect place for a delicious fish meal, with recipes from the past and local specialties served in a friendly atmosphere. Luckily, we have also here a beautiful bike route to enjoy.
Last but not least we have a very famous and good pizza option for you. Only very few restaurants use this method of preparing pizzas, all natural and very special. Trattoria Laguna uses fresh products and has an amazing view over the lagoon. Again here, you can follow our bike route and discover the rest of our beautiful lagoon.
