Cavallino Treporti bike ride route: „Live like a local”

From the campsite you go through Ca’Savio’s main street towards Treporti. Often overlooked by tourists and an example of a slower life, take the scenic route Via di Portosecco towards the restaurant Al Pescatore and find a beautiful shaded garden, great for a photo of the lagoon.

Continuing from here the route takes you along the main canal of Treporti towards the heart of lagoon and the farmers fields. Here the locals produce a variety of fresh products, almost all year around.

Before turning left and entering the lagoon, stop for a refreshment in the local corner bar named Osteria dal Pupi. A spritz is what the locals drink here, watch our Italians lessons for tips on how to order a drink when in Italy.

Follow the narrow road, while navigating through the lagoon and admire the micro eco system that has its own pace. The flora and fauna are unique for the area.

At the end of the road you find the highlight of the route.: Agriturismo restaurants, here you can really taste the products cultivated by the locals. Lio Piccolo has several beautiful restaurants for lunch and dinner, like Agriturismo Le Manciane, Agriturismo Le Saline or Al Notturno. And after a lovely meal you can enjoy scenic route back to Camping Ca’Savio again.
