After the Second World War, Peggy then decided to move to Venice, where she bought Palazzo Venier dei Leoni on the Grand Canal. Here, she turns her house into a museum open to the public, becoming a cultural landmark in the Venetian lagoon and worldwide.

Venice Guggenheim Collection tickets and opening hours
The museum is open daily, except Tuesdays, from 10:00 to 18:00. Tickets can be purchased directly at the ticket office from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or online on the official website, thus avoiding possible queues.
The cost of the entrance ticket is 16 euro, but for children, students and seniors (over 70) there are reductions and free admission. In fact, children up to the age of 10 can enter for free, while the cost of the ticket for students is 9 euro, and for seniors 14 euro.
In addition, every Sunday at 3pm, families with children can enjoy a visit to the museum by taking advantage of the Kids Day activity, i.e. free workshops for children between 4 and 10 years of age that encourage interaction and collaboration among peers, experimenting with different topics and developing everyone’s technical, hand and creative skills.
